What parents should know

Clover Playground & Cafe (formerly MajestKids Playland) in Sugar Land has quickly become a favored spot for families seeking a modern, well-kept indoor playground with birthday party hosting. The venue stands out for its thoughtful design, with separate play areas for toddlers and older children, a feature that parents repeatedly highlight as making supervision easier and play safer. Recent renovations and a rebrand have brought a fresh look and improved amenities, including a café serving coffee, pizza, salads, and snacks—though some parents note that food service can be slow, especially during busy times.

Birthday parties are a clear focus here, with multiple reviews describing well-organized celebrations, dedicated party rooms, and helpful staff who handle setup, decoration, and clean-up. Packages start around $500 for a basic party, and families appreciate the flexibility to bring their own food. Staff are frequently described as friendly, attentive, and accommodating, with several mentions of party hosts going out of their way to ensure a smooth experience. One parent noted, “We NEVER FELT RUSHED! That’s something I highly commend!”

Cleanliness is a recurring positive theme, with many reviews praising the staff’s diligence in maintaining tidy play areas and bathrooms. The venue’s policy of requiring socks in play areas and providing slippers for bathroom trips is seen as thoughtful. However, some parents express concerns about crowding during peak hours and recommend making reservations in advance, as walk-ins may be turned away when the venue reaches capacity. Safety is generally well regarded, though a few reviews mention areas where additional padding or supervision could be beneficial, especially around slides and climbing structures.

Pricing is a point of mixed feedback: while many find the value appropriate for the quality and service, others feel the admission and membership fees are on the higher side, particularly for frequent visits. Some negative reviews cite confusion over event pricing or dissatisfaction with staff communication, but these are less common compared to the overall positive sentiment. The Google rating of 4.57 from 158 reviews, with a strong majority of 5-star ratings, suggests most families leave satisfied.

Clover Playground & Cafe is especially well suited for birthday parties for children ages 1 to 7, offering a clean, engaging environment and attentive party support. Parents should book ahead, clarify pricing, and supervise younger children closely in active play zones.

Was denied entry due to not having a reservation. Imagine the cries I dealt with from my two year old. Went to Kumos and had a blast. They need to make it known RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.

We had such a fun time! So many fun activities for the kids to do. The place was extremely clean and very well taken care of. I saw the staff cleaning multiple times, which was much appreciated. The café was very good, but slow. The french fries were very soggy and not very good, but the pizza was very yummy and the harvest salad was delicious. The coffee was yummy as well. My only true complaint would be the lack of padding in the two areas pictured above. I feel like this is a safety hazard. The giant pillow is fun, but there is no padding surrounding the outside area, only wooden floor. I would be afraid a child would get launched too high and hurt themselves. The climbing net has quite a long drop as well. It made me quite nervous watching the kids go up and down it/ getting bumped next to it.

This place is rebranded and I believe is New ownership and management. The reviews prior to this month are for Majestkids. The renovation is nice. The turn out for the opening week was a success so they decided to hike prices up within a week of opening. What a way to thank loyal customer for outpouring support. $40 for two kids is step especially if you plan to visit often. The membership is also steep.
